Hi all
I'm going to be putting up posters in Colo Spgs to promote the 2nd Annual HERA Colorado Ovarian Cancer Climb4Life event, and I want to target places where people who climb (or who may want to learn how to climb) actually spend time. I know the obvious ones - SCC, REI, Mtn Chalet. Any other suggestions??
Thanks!!

Looking down from Notchtop

I think you hit the usual ones. You might try putting some fliers up at some regular gyms as well.

That funny place in Manitou that sells beer, climbing gear, and has pictures and maps of Peter's plan for the fish in the creek. I can't recall the name. Also the Warner Center at Colorado College.

Few other places you may try are Bristol Brewing Co., Poor Richards Restaurant, Raven's Nest Coffee shop (I live in that neighborhood and there's an unbelievable climbing community).

Good luck w/ the event! Let me know if I can help w/ anything at all!

Thanks so much for your suggestions!! Posters were put up or dropped off (and hopefully put up later) at SCC, REI, Mtn Chalet, The Rock, Poor Richard's, Raven's, Boulder St Coffee Roasters, Core Power yoga studios, Wild Oats & Whole Foods. I didn't have time to hit Bristol or Kin Folks, but will get them next time I head that direction.

And if you're interested in helping you can sign up on the website to volunteer or to actually participate, and also encourage your friends/family to do the same (even those who've never climbed or are novices).

Thanks again :-)
