| Hi All,
We are looking for volunteers to help maintain and improve the trail to the Piano Boulders climbing area in Fort Collins. This will be an Adopt-a-crag event and the first NCCC stewardship project of the year.
We will be making a few stairs, doing trail maintenance, revegetating impacted areas and eliminating social trails. The trail day we did at the Piano Boulders two years ago officially opened the area to climbing and has helped build a great relationship with the City of Fort Collins. Help us keep up the progress!
All volunteers will get free lunch and a raffle of prizes will be held at the end of the day for folks that sign up for the Access Fund. Please e-mail me to sign up at horsetoothhang@yahoo.com
Logistical details: Who: You, the NCCC, and other cool folks (limit 15-20)
What: helping keep our climbing areas open by moving rocks, planting grass, looking cool in leather gloves and other great stewardship related things
When: Saturday, April 5th; 9am - 3pm
Where: Piano Boulders Climbing area, Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins, Co ( I can send you a map)
Why: To keep the Piano Boulders open and in good shape, on top of having a great shot at winning some killer schwag in the raffle.
If you have any questions, send me an e-mail. Thanks, Cam | |
