I moved out here to Colorado two years ago and I am embarrassed to say that I haven't done any outdoor climbing since I've been here (Ugh!). A buddy of mine from Michigan is coming out and we are looking to do some climbing in two weeks.

Neither of us is really in leading condition so we are looking for some good top ropes (5.7-light 5.10 range). I would prefer to go somewhere that won't be too busy but will also be scenic for my friend as this is his first time visiting Colorado (and my husband and I are trying to convince him to move here!!!).

It looked like there was a handful of decent TRs up by Estes, near Lily lake. Any feedback on these for this time of year?

Would prefer not to do stuff real close to Denver, but not looking to drive more than an hour or two at most.
