Me on the summit with a full moon and the shadow of Cotopaxi in the background.

Anyone out there know if there is any ice to be had this late in the season? Specifically in the Officer's Gulch or Vail area? I don't have time for the long alpine approaches this weekend. Thanks!

If you go to vail I would be very very very carefull.

I drove through there a week and half ago and the fang had a giant fracture on the top 1/3 If it has not fallen already it will soon.
Everything else there looked like it was holding on but I would be pretty sketched up there. Officers gulch was covered in snow pretty much as well when i drove through.

I would go climb some rock.
