Now that all the trash talking in that "other" thread has died down a little, let's discuss something far more important.

That would be an MP Beer night, cause it's been far too long.

I will propose Thursday, March 20 at the Yardhouse in Golden as a way to bring in Spring in style.

Any takers?

I'm so glad he spelled it right.

I'm in if Tim will climb with me before and as long as he doesn't have an emergency. :-)

Same story. I might go too, but TooTallTim has to climb with me before long. He left Eldo early on Sunday, before it got dark... the pansy(*)!

Whatever the case, I will need a beer that night for sure.

March 20 looks good to me ...

is the Yardhouse that place in East Golden, which really isn't Golden, next to Target.

Maybe we can get Darren to come along and sign our new CC guidebooks!

Hehehe, well it was waning light. And it was her first time outside. But I can't argue this one, quite the opposite. If it wasn't her first time lead belaying, I probably would've jumped on something fun to make sundown.

If I was with an experienced partner, we wouldn't be back down to the ground till well after sundown (which seems to happen with wonderful frequency).

Oh, and as long as I'm not out of state, I'll be there. But work typically drags me away from Boulder...

Mike S.,

I'm in. It will be good to see you again and share some stories, or in my case, BS.

Well, Tim climbed with me in Eldo Sunday, and I guess calling him a wuss motivated him cause he did Purple Haze, Friends in High Places, and finally Muscular Dystropy in border-line snowing conditions.

So I guess I'll see you all Thursday night after the gym.

I think Tim Davis is still out of town...

Next question is WHEN?
And secondly does anyone want to get a few pitches in in Eldo first?
I'd show up after dark if someone wants to climb in Eldo first.

I'll probably get there around 6:30

Whoever gets there first - get a table for 8 or so and tell the front desk that it's the Mountain Project group.

See you there!
