I couldn't make this. Can someone who did go let me know how it went?

Henry Barber has always been a hero of mine. I thought he gave a good lecture and it's cool to see an icon like that speak. He said some things that only Henry Barber could say, in reference to bolts and boldness, that would have gotten anyone else boo'd off the stage. For me, he was preaching to the choir.

This is the second presentation I've seen at the AAC, the other was Roger Briggs a few years ago. Not content but presentation quality, Roger is by far the better public speaker. I'm not handing out grades though.

I planned on making it and couldn't either, wish I'd been there, he was one of my heroes for sure.

I may be wrong, but I think Briggs teaches for a living, ergo he should be pretty comfortable talking in front of people.

Thanks for the update. I really wanted to see and meet Barber. Although I wouldn't necessarily think of him as a hero of mine, he was one badass climber!
