So I am back to having serious thoughts about a climbing gym for the Western part of Denver and the foothills. Does anyone know of anyone else that is currently planning one or in construction?

Can't help much with your question, but I was climbing with the wife at the Golden Rec center's wall this morning, and we were discussing how much we'd like a real gym in Golden. Neither of us can travel conveniently up to Boulder or Lakewood, so a Golden gym would be great!

I work in downtown Golden, but live in Gilpin county. It's a heckuva commute to a gym in Boulder, then home, so that's why I don't. If there was one in Golden, we'd go and get a membership for sure.

You know where one is really needed is the Western part of Highlands Ranch. That would draw from the entire South West Metro area, up to Golden.
