I've been climbing for about a month in the gym and try to climb about 4 or 5 days a week. I can toprope at about 5.9 but have never been roped outside only bouldering or gym climbing. I can climb basically any day after three since i'm in high shcool. I dont really expect anyone really jumping out to help a highschool punk but i am patient and willing to learn.

Are you out for summer yet? I have everyday off to go climbing this summer so if you want to drive to Golden we can head up to the cliffs here for 5 hrs.

Adam, how old are you?

If you are under 18 I suggest that who ever takes you out speaks with your parents. You sound mature and this might seem silly. However, taking a minor out climbing with out parental approval could cause problems.

I'm a teacher and live not to far from you. So when I begin my summer break maybe I'll contact you. Sadly that is still three weeks away :(

Ya I go to evergreen high. I understand the concern about talking to my parents and that would be fine both my parents understand that rock climbing is dangerous but know that i'm responsible and wouldnt put myself or someone else in danger. Sergio i see your a teacher from idaho springs if you work at clear creek you probably know my boss Tristen Benaci. Thanks for all the help if any of you guys are looking to climb this weekend i'd definitly be down.

Thanks
Adam
