The Idarado Mine owns large portions of land, including the access road, that they have been kind enough to maintain partially and allow the public to use. Its not the most ideal situation for us, but we have to respect the wishes of the land owners and take what we can get.
Description
A very long pitch of sustained climbing! Standard issue Telluride conglomerate the whole way as you roll through several small overhangs and cruxes. One of the best pitches on the pipeline.
Location
This is the first route to the climber's left (west) of Ame's Way on the long face.
Protection
15 bolts to anchors. With a 70m rope you can rappel to the 1st bolt and downclimb from there. Need 2 ropes to reach the ground.
