Description

Some of the best bouldering to be found in the southwest Colorado area. Great Dakota sandstone projects to keep you interested for a long time. Spring-fall and can get a few people on them at times. I've seen as many as 3 other parties there at a time.

Getting There

From Telluride, take CO 145 to the Ilium turnoff. Follow about 1.5 miles up the road. A small pulloff on the right represents the entrance. Hike about 100 yds into the trees on one of two small foot paths. Problems range from easy to hard, with many different boulders scattered throughout the trees.
