This is me looking down from the first good ledge ...

Description

This is the widish crack to the right of the Chimney left of Ragger Bagger on Turkey Perch. Looks like an offwidth, but has hidden holds inside so it feels more like a face route. Nice pitch-if it was more sustained I would give it another star.

Protection

Light rack with a few big cams.

Oops, its on Turkey Perch-not Turkey Tail. Sorry to all the hordes of people wanting to climb 5.6 offwidths...

I was one of those people...until I realized it sucked! It has some fun moves, but overall is short and yes, offwidth. Maybe if I had a 4 and 4.5 Camalot I would have enjoyed it more. As the cracks converge towards the top, I had one foot in each crack and found myself humping the bulge of rock in the middle--definately the highlight of the climb.
