This little, out-of-the-way crag is great for an all day excursion (including drive time) for those trad hungry climbers who don't need a lot to choose from. A short hike downhill with a little bushwacking will get you there. The South Face is very course (Veadawoo'esque) with about five or so established crack climbs.
Getting There
From Denver take HWY 85 (Santa Fe South) - From Castle Rock take HWY 85 North to Sedalia. Go West on road #67 till you get to Rampart Range Road. Then go South for approx. four (4) miles, keeping an eye out for the Cabin Ridge Picnic Ground sign on the right. Park at the end and walk directly West on the trail to the back side of the crag. Go around to the left for the easiest access.
