Description 

These two rocks are interesting diversions.


Getting There 

For deGaulle's Nose go one half mile on FR 550. Park where the Colorado Trail crosses the road. Walk up the hill to the rock. Five minute approach.

For the Buffalo Creek Spire drive on FR 500 till it meets FR 543 (now closed) Park and walk about a mile to the rock. It's right off the road

Anyone know if this formation has any routes? I have spotted some cracks on the front(south side), this was shot from just below A-hole.  The formation is NW of Little Scraggy.

This area has some good fun boulder problems both crack and slab.

The slab under and right of the nose is a perfect place for people who aspire to do the real hard Platte face climbs to practice. Bring a pad.

I have bouldered here for years. I am sure no where near as long as A.H. A great deal of fun problems exist. I take the 5 year old here often. I added a few more photos.

If anyone is interested in helping me do a clean up here, I will dispose of the garbage we collect. I am thinking of getting it done in the next two weeks. 1 or 2 people would be a great help.
