Description

These are a pair of crags located at the far north end of the Top of the World area. Just Say No, Group Therapy, If 6 was 9 are some quality routes here.

Getting There

Approach as for Chair Rocks & Spoof Rock. From the fence line, continue down the road, bear left a short way past (left) of Chair Rocks. Follow the trail down toward Spoof Rock, but bear right at the first fork. Continue north to The Gemstones.

"Both Gemstones are probably the furthest things to hike to in the area. It would be much quicker to hike here from the CS parking, but I very seriously doubt you could get there without crossing private property."

The only private property in the immediate vicinity of Raleigh Peak is just west around the quarries (Luster Lane) and then a small lot NE and downhill from Chair Rocks. Most of the property is still gov't owned. The road is all on US property, so if you stick to it you should be ok. I work for JeffCo and have access to property info.
