Despite Mike's assessment, I thought this was a fun pitch. We climbed it the same way as described, by heading out left on the slab where it starts to roof out, and then climbing straight up to the lip. I don't remember the face climbing to be particularly lichen covered--but then, I learned to climb in New Hampshire.
