Hey Allen Hill, are you out there? Which rock is this? Looks kind of like a combination of The Dome and Wigwam Dome. I'm baffled.

Allen,

Email sent, let me know if you don't get it.

Hmmm. Got me stumped, too. Looks similar to Wigwam for sure. Which would make the formation on the left be The Sun, but where is TP Tower? Doesn't quite look like The Sun or Wigwam though.

It's Spring. Time to put up routes on this dome, right? I will be happy to assist.

We'll be in there for the next few days. Don't count on many detailed reports. Not yet at least.

Well, have any routes gone up on this yet? The photos you sent looked great and I'm still up for helping.

We think there are three or four routes that where done in the eighties by Steve Cheney aka Muff. He apparently didn't drill on any of them. Anyhow there's room for more to be sure if we are willing to drill. The rock quality is out of this world. Totally bullet.

I was in this part of the Platte with some older fellas this weekend....UNBELIEVABLE the amount of untouched rock there is there....

Shhhhhhhhhhh....

Don't want too many folks heading into there....

Aha! Pete, I ran into you maybe 10 years ago, and we were talking about the Lost Creek Wilderness and you mentioned that I should investigate Pond Rock.

Now that I've got you on the horn...do you know about an offwidth called 'Bottom Feeder'?

While I am pretty knowledgeable about "bottom-feeders", I can't say I'm familiar with any of the off-width variety.

I recall Roger "Strappo" Hughes talking about his proj circa late '80s calling it Bottom Feeder.
