Description 

Follow nailheads and pitons to an easy slab climb to the summit. A short but interesting adventure up an unusual formation. Rap to the start.


Location 

Situated at the West end of the Mt. Garfield Things of Beauty area. See photo of the West end (coming).


Protection 

Tie-offs, quick draws, etc. Rope.

The rappel is made off a single (spinning, I think) bolt in the sandstone just below the ridge. Leave the rope fixed to aid in getting back up the steep dirt/mud to the ridge. Also, this tower is short enough that one can fix the rappel, climb, and rap off the tower with a single rope.
