Go Paradise! I climbed at Thrillseekers a couple times when I first started; meh--too expensive for what you get in my opinion. Went up to Rock 'n Jamin; wow--huge, but again, pretty spendy, pretty far north (or south, whichever you prefer), and a lot of birthday partys. Then, I found Paradise; ahhhh, just right. Good price, good people, decent music, great bouldering room without grades or the ego, in a not too distant galaxy, not too far away.

I was never much of a gym climber for a lot of reasons but this past winter I started going to Paradise with my nephew every week and I just love the place. Great staff, great clientele, great customers, great place. Plus it's close to downtown where I live.
