Description

This great line is in the middle of the rock formation and is easy identifiable by the single finger pocket which starts it off. I had planned to bolt it but someone beat me to it, I am just happy someone got around to it. Very interesting, well protected, moves off the ground and through the overhang bring you to a nice rest ledge. From here follow the line of bolts through the crux to the chains.

Protection

While the chains CAN be accessed from the top for top rope I would not recommend it. Seven bolts to a two chain anchor

The correct name for this route is Laughing Buddha, and the first ascent was made by Courtney Scales, owner of Gunnison Valley Adventure Guides.

I believe the first ascent of this was done in the seventies. I just can't remember who. I am sure that Tom Pulaski or Jim Nigro would know.
