Description

The East Creek Day Use Area is the eastern most BLM Land in the canyon. The rock is all sandstone ranging in quality from slightly sandy to solid. There may be some loose rocks on the routes until more people begin using them. The area is frequented by picnickers; however, I have never had a problem with them, they seem to enjoy watching climbers. All routes can be walked off of.

Getting There

The area is accessible from the first two large pullouts on the right just inside BLM land. This is about 2 miles west of US Hwy. 50 on CO Hwy 141. All routes are less than 20 yards from a pullout.
