Peter Dillon staying between the lines.

Description

Follow the bolts. Plenty of good holds all around, and a fun bulge in the middle of the climb. Labeled #48 in image.

Protection

About 5 or 6 bolts to a 2 bolt anchor.

The Bastille Crack of North Table, which is to say that it almost always has a line waiting to send it. The climb is a bit easy for 5.9, but if you limit yourself to "between the lines" it gets closer to that grade.

No line last Sunday! The first bolt is actually a little high for my taste. 4 bolts.

Actually if you don't like the section before the first bolt (which might be the crux), I discovered you can climb up to the left and reach right off some jugs to clip it. Then downclimb and begin directly under the bolt for "full credit".

Probably fair at 9- but I find the 8+ on the arete to the right to be more challenging from the mental perspective. The first bolt on this one is not that hairy compared to the bolting of other routes at Table.

It's much harder if you stay in between the lines.

This is nice climb, but I missed some holds that would have made this a little easier.
