Mark Rolofson at the fourth bolt on Power Trip.


Description 

This is the second bolted line from the left end of the wall. (Hazardous Waste is on the far left). Probably the best 12a on the wall with good bolts and fun moves. A wild crux sequence gains the anchors.


Protection 

5 bolts, 2 bolt anchor.

CONDITION REPORT 

Replaced the anchor biners today, 8.28.08. The old ones were pretty worn through, one of them about 1/3 of the way.

This is a fun powerful route and the knee bar at the crux make it fun and tricky.

Given that there is only 40 feet of climbing, it is hard to imagine a better 12a sport route of this length. Great line!

Just like Anarchy in the UK, it's disappointing that someone added a bolt to this route.

I suppose that it would be better not to add bolts to routes, and have more people hit things...ie. the deck, ledges, their belayer? Would this be a " I climbed the route without the extra bolt, didn't fall, so clearly I am superior to all who have subsequently led it with the extra bolt?" Nice comment...Young Doug.
