BETA PHOTO: Picture of the first half of Tilt. Starting holds ...
Description
Walk past the 420 boulders, down an apparent trail. Head uphill towards the talus. The Tilt faces east and is defined by a steep ooverhanging corner. Stand start the corner, V6; sit start, V8 (FA: Shambo).
I think Perch is much easier than Tilt. I also think it is weird to base a rating of V6 on Perch anyway, since it is a rather idiosyncratic climb that varies so much on the height of the climber. That said, I think the stand to Tilt is solid V7... comparable to Turning Point at Flagstaff.
You probably also want at least one spotter since the top out is a little committing and over another set of rocks. We padded the problem with 2 large pads and had one spotter...just my two cents.
