Description

This rock is a sunny carter lake boulder. It lies just up from the south parking lot. Two very fun problems exist on the superbly textured rock. The v1 is on the left side following a crack. The v0 is on the right, go anyway you want. Do it one armed for fun.

Getting There

Park by the dumpster. Walk on the trail ten feet, take the middle split. Head towards the boulders. This is the 3rd boulder on the trail. Look at the pictures.

The V-1 on the right is fun. it can be done static using the right wall (5.9) or not using it, (5.10). It can also be done dynamic to change it up a bit. It does look like a variation has developed that is harder than v-1. Look for the chalk marks on the holds just above waist level.

Traverse the entire bloc either direction. A bit harder going from right to left. Start on SE side, move through the "book" face and expect a crux moving around NW arete. Flows well either direction and makes fun cool down.
