Description

This is the wide slot on the W face of Fin City. While appealing to climb, leading this is an entirely different proposition, since the bulk of it may be only protectable with Big Bros or 2 x 4s. The climb has a benign appearance, but looks can deceive as the left wall, which you use for you feet, has somewhat of a friable feel to it, still, due to lack of traffic or rock quality, or both. It is probably best to climb it right side in.

You can downclimb the chimney to the East.

Location

This is on the W face of Fin City. It is the obvious slot/chimney.

Protection

Big Bros, an Alien and #5 Camalot may help.... Apparently, 2 #5 Camalots can be helpful.

A #5 Camalot worked great in a lot of the slot. If you have two of them, you can protect it really well.
