Description

Window Rock is located between Lumpy Ridge and Highway 34 near Estes Park. This is a relatively low traffic area with probably only a handful of visits each year. The rock is standard Lumpy quality granite and the routes are all one pitch.

Getting There

Park near the intersection of US Highway 34 Bypass and the US Highway 34 Business routes. The Estes street names are Wonderview and Elkhorn. Hike north across the road to the prominent spine of rock just east of the dome shaped Castle Rock. Depending on your approach, it is possible to cross private property. You will notice that you cross the NPS boundary about halfway up.
