DescriptionFirst set of substantial rock formations on the east side of the trail at about 2 1/4 miles. Set in a ponderosa, lodgepole, juniper forest with some good shade on the east side slope. The south side of the wall has an obvious section of overlapped rocks. Secluded except for the trail. Bring a wire brush for cleaning. There is a lot of lichen on parts of the rocks. I climbed parts of several routes not listed and didn't finish due to the lichen factor. A top rope may be useful on parts of the Overlap Wall as well. Getting ThereHike up the summit trail for 2 1/4 miles to the formations. Overlap Wall is on the east side of the trail, up to 25 feet high.
