Looking straight at the only side with decent prob...
Description
Super cool huge limestone block, big bold problems. Good as it gets....
Getting There
As you pass through the town of Minturn, heading south, you come to a bridge on your left that spans the river. Turn left, cross the bridge and park in the dirt lot opposite the town cemetery. Hike up past the left side of the cemetery into a gully, 5 minutes from car.
The Classics
Mountain Project's determination of some of the classic, most popular, highest rated routes for Cemetery Block:
If you absolutely must stop and hike up to this block, at least try to enjoy the views. There are some incredible looking buttresses WAY uphill, I don't know if they offer any routes or are worth the full hike to find out, but they certainly look the part. This block has a few problems, all closely spaced (read contrived), none worth the time (read loose/chossy). Access: Park next to the utility shack, hike thru the flat area towards the right side of the gully, a climber's trail can be found here that will take you straight to the base. Take 15 more minutes and drive to Redcliff for some really good (and solid) stone.
