This is what is left of a larger formation which fell in 1992. There used to be a number of wide crack climbs and a bombay chimney route. The L side of the pillar consists of a huge chimney with a nice looking crack just to its L. A number of cracks split the L side of this pillar to go to the arete and top. Beware of mouse poo!

This area is to the R of the huge, R-facing dihedral.
