Description

This is a very sunny and kind of windy. The rock good on most of the rock, but some of it is really crumbly, so check before you climb.

Getting There

Start at the Ute Valley parking lot. Then walk on the trail to the west. Hike up the ridge and you're there.

Where is this area? I find it hard to believe that the guidebook missed a bunch of three and four star climbs....

I believe these boulders are on the very north end of Ute Valley Park. Instead of turning off of Centennial at Mule Deer Drive, continue heading north until Centennial meets Vindicator, turn right and follow it until you reach a parking lot on the right. Take the trail that heads out of the lot for about 50 yards and it crosses a path heading northwest. Take that a couple hundred yards and you will see the rocks on the ridge. I would take the trail to the very end of the ridge, which is close to Vindicator. The rock is very good all the way down the ridge. I have hiked along this whole ridge and there are tons of problems to be climbed. Nothing like the Wave or Cube boulders but still very good sandstone.
