Where is the belayer?

Blow up the photo and you'll see the rope continues away from the cliff and out the bottom of the frame. The belayer (who may be taking this photo) is out of the frame at the bottom.

The leader is at a good stance, posing for a photo-op. There is a lot of slack in the belay rope; I hope the belayer tightens things up when/if the climbing gets harder.

The belayer and photographer was ME, and I had my buddy tie off with additional pro. Don't worry—he was motivated to not fall as well! This was a great climb and their are tons of them at Red Rocks just like it. I'm so used to climbing on sandstone that I forget that not everybody does.
