Description

Sport climbing some shade and some sun depending on the wall.

Getting There

Drive up Old Stage Road to a parking area with a bulletin board on the right (4.6miles). Walk up the road about 100 meters and the trail is on your right by a drainage ditch. You will head up the trail 150 meters or so past 3 dirt jumps then at the large dead tree crossing the trail head right up the ridge then down the other side and across a stream. Zigzag northwest up the hillside following the cairns (some are had to see). You will come to a steep drainage, scramble up and you will see the first wall on your right. Yhe approach should take about 20 minutes.

Brandon,
Good job on the direction. Not a easy place to find.

Fun crag for a day. The rock was good in most places, the climbing fun and it looks like there is potential for steeper/harder climbs in the area. Someone has done a nice job with the faintly visible trail that switchbacks up to the cliff. And the directions are dead on.

So what's the roof route to the right of "Storm Surge?"
