This is a fairly fun place to boulder. It is in the shade most of the day, any day due to fact that it is only about three or four feet wide. Another long traversing area. Just choose your holds and make your way along the rock. Keep your feet less than two feet off the ground and avoid stemming behind you for an added challenge. Bring a spotter because the ground here is strewn with smaller rocks that could cause some ankle injuries. Expect holds that range from huge jugs to incut monos.
Getting There
The Slash is located just to the left of Silver Spoon on South Gateway Rock. Just follow the base of the rock until you come to a corridor between the two rocks. You really can't miss it.
