Description

This is the cliff directly uphill from the Lower Tier. There are 3 routes on it in the WI3-4 range. All are walkoffs. They are shorter than they look from below and pleasant climbs. It is a bit of a slog getting to them.

This section also contains info on Jack Stout which is at about the same elevation but way right, across the descent gully on the next headwall to the East. It is the route in the obvious cleft/gully.

Getting There

Climb a route on the lower tier to craftily position yourself out of reach of your snowshoes. Convince your partner that since you are there you may as well go on up and knock 'em out. Talk him/her into breaking trail for extra bonus points.

Don't go here if there is avy danger which should be brief since this all faces South.
