About halfway up

Description

About 100 yards west of the main flow, is a smaller but wider climb. It's about 25-30 feet long, and less than vertical. There were a couple of bulges that needed to be negotiated and made the climb interesting. Easy walk off to the left or the right.

The ice can be thin or parts of the rock underneath it maybe exposed but covered with snow. Don't break your tools.

Protection

Screws. Some shorties might be helpful.

Toprope Protection

Slings.

James--looks like you're climbing something from 7-11. ;-)
