Description
Coal Creek Canyon Revival. These are various mixed TR lines just R of the short ice flow, David's Line.Don't go if you are going to complain about the ice. Someone asked, so here it is.
Find this in the narrows of Coal Creek Canyon, Hwy 72, W of Hwy 93. This is W of the Rocky Flats site. It lies probably about 5 or 6 miles up canyon where the rocky hillsides narrow. Various bit of ice form during wet cold cycles but can melt out with Chinooks. Access is unknown, so, keep a low profile unless you find out more.
Play here on various mixed lines in the 20-25 ft range. Lead the ice to the L or walkaround to set TR anchors. The rock can be loose in spots. Ice and/or rock anchors above can be used for anchors. Lines of M4, M5 & M6 exist here. There is a 60-70 ft mixed line around & down to the R that can form. Rap or walk off L.
Protection
