The FA of Cleanup Hitter.

Description

Cleanup Hitter is a great climb, that trends left at the start and then climbs straight up on great rock, featuring two distinct and different cruxes. The first crux involves long reaches around the second and third bolts. The second crux is high on the route and is more technical in nature, featuring devious sidepulls and footwork. Cleanup Hitter shares an anchor with Party At Your Mama's House, the next route to the left. This was a long-standing project begun by BJ Sbarra that was finished this fall, hence the name. There is also a direct start called Back From The Dead that begins directly above the tree stump.

Location

This is the fifth climb from the left on The Front Porch and the last of the "longer" climbs on the cliff. It starts just right of a tree stump.

Protection

8 bolts and two-bolt chain anchor.

Sweet Tobin, glad to hear that you liked it. And, nice send. The beginning is reachy and above it feels like you could easily come off in the technical face climbing section.
