Description

This submission is as a result of a request/inquiry about this small cliff. This crag is considered by some to be a continuation of the Cactus Cliff. It has been listed as a distinct crag. There are at least 4 advanced routes on this crag: Payment in Pump, 13; Cache in the Vault, 13-; Money Changers, 12, Wad of Dead Presidents, 11+. At the moment, only 1 of these is listed in the database.

According to Kirra: In F. Knapp's new book, Cash Wall is referred to as in the "Vault Area", and Cactus Cliff is given a section by itself. "This cliff was also acquired as part of the Access Fund's 1998 Cactus Cliff acquisition."

Getting There

This crag is located to the NE of the bulk of the area known as The Bank. It lies just across from Gem Wall.

From R. Wright's entry for the Vault: "From the parking above The Bank, take the road down toward The Bank and take off on the trail to the 2150 wall. Cross the stream and pick up the trail fork that heads right. This will pick up the East end of the Bank. Just continue hiking East (right) and negotiate a small drainage that separates The Bank from The Vault. A short trail at the end of the canyon cuts directly to The Cash Wall which is really the West continuation of Cactus Cliff."
