Description

This route climbs the obvious overhanging flake system that splits a clean prow of rock right of Jewel of the Wild. Steep, awkward laybacks lead to a short traverse right and a last crux. Short but pumpy.

Protection

5 bolts/anchor

I just wanted to know if someone could tell me the name and rating of the route immediately to the left of Splitting The Stone? Unless I really did put crack in my cereal this morning it sure doesn't fit the discription of Jewel of The Wild. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Micah Stocker is a big pussywussy!

I was curious if anybody could tell me the name of the route directly to the left of Splitting The Stone. I have the old shelf guide and nothing seems to fit the description of it and I'm pretty sure it isn't Jewel of The Wild because of the number of bolts and the overhang. If anybody has any imput that would be awesome. Thanks!

I'll answer my own question. The route to the immediate left of Splitting the Stone is Ewetopia and it is a 12a according to the new guide. [Definitely], worth doing. It is a taste of almost every type of [climbing] you can do at Shelf in one climb. I'm not sure about the spelling of the route name, but you get the point.
