Description

This esoteric gem lurks on the left side of a clean dihedral about 300 yards south of Ejection Seat, just south of a massive roof system. Climb past a short corner to a boulder problem crux (crimps and pockets). After getting on the slab, continue to a good ledge and tackle the last crux, a pesky shallow mono move. I personally feel this is much harder than any other Shelf 13a I've done and would like to know what other climbers think. Dan, if you read this, is the name right and what does it mean?

Hey Peter, how goes it? The route was originally bolted by Darryl Roth and I can not recall if he the FA or if it was me, but he should get the credit. Since he worked in the medical field he always had a good quiver of names to use and this is one of them. Similar to the term Thorazine Dream, Librium Quiver refers to the affects of Librium, a heavy antianxiety agent. The route is one of those that feels right on for the grade or stiff, depending on your state of mind, fingers etc.

Hi Dan, thanks for the info. I definitely got some kind of psychological side effect trying to link this route.
