Description 

In most places, a crack like this would have a line of parties waiting to play with their trad racks. At Shelf Road, it never even made it into the guidebook. Ascend the finger/handcrack in the right-facing corner left of "Cosmic Thing" to the "Cosmic Thing" belay. This is the first crack left of #23 in William Prehm's photo topo.

Protection 

Cams to 3.5" to a two-bolt rap anchor on top of "Cosmic Thing".
