LA formation, Jessica's Block, and Midnight Rock, ...


Description 

This is a nice, sunny, secluded, clean granite block, that sits just to the west of the west upper end of Midnight Rock.


Getting There 

Boulder Canyon to Sugarloaf Road to left On LA road, wind around to parking, see directions to Upper Dream Canyon. Hike as for Midnight Rock and descend a short ways to the south. Wish I had my GPS.

Jessica's Block is a rock that I dedicated to my step-daughter who sadly passed away in November of 2008, she was 23 years old. She is survived by two brothers, my sons, and her two children, as well as an extended family. She liked to go hiking and climbing with me when she was a child. It has been a year since her passing and she is greatly missed.
