Peter Dillon tip-toeing up the arete.

Description

Climb the clean arete just left of Boy's World. Sustained delicate face and slab climbing. Fun moves, airy position. A great addition to this area!

Protection

8 bolts to a 2-bolt anchor. The climb is about 60' long.

This is just weird. It's hard to tell which side of the arete you are supposed to climb. The bolts are on the left, but holds seem to pull you right, almost out of reach at one point.

Why not just climb the corner a foot and a half to the right?

This is a decent climb and a good warmup. I recommend staying along the bolt line (on the left of the arete). Moving to the right is probably a bit easier but not really the intent of the route.

I agree with Dave's comment. The line is nebulous at best. Although tempting, following the face moves and obvious crimps on the right side of the arete makes clipping awkward. I'll have to come back and try staying to the left along the bolt line :)
