Description

A small lonely cliff with only one route, presently. The cliff faces West by Northwest and is overhanging, so it stays shaded until afternoon. The rock is reasonably good, but having seen only one ascent, it still needs a little cleaning.

Getting There

Start on the rdge-line trail heading south towards Pebble Beach from the Cave Complex. Along the way, perhaps half way there, you will pass below a steep wall 15 meters tall. This small crag lies on the ridge line and the highest trail goes right below its base.

The crag can be recognized by the bottom, where a short, left-facing corner gives way to a well-pebbled face being split on the left hand arete by an undulating hand and finger crack to the top, Northwest Arete. This is the Only climb on the rock at present, known as 'Kat and Dogs.'
