Hike into the Lower Satellites to the Best of Boulder County (BBC) Boulder. On the back (west) side of the BBC are a number of smaller boulders opposite the problems on the BBC.
Smooth Ride begins from a sit-down start in a slot between some bushes and ascends decent edges up a short and slightly overhanging face. A long reach gains a grim edge, just short of the slopey top. Either lockoff and "smooth it" or bump to the top and pull over. I've seen it done both ways, although I make it look anything but smooth. Cool, but in typical Satellites fashion, too short for my taste.
