Excuse my ignorance, but I can't tell where the original route goes, even after looking at the other beta picture. Please advise :-D

I think the standard route goes past the pin, so it is the red line. I believe this is also the line shown in the other beta photo. However, the blue line feels easier to many and is often taken, especially by people who don't see the piton! Who knows which way Kor went, although one might assume he placed the piton (but more likely it has been replaced many times).
