Your choice of footwear is impressive. I am barely willing to even leave the house without putting my climbing shoes on, much less do this route. The thought of climbing several of the sections on this route in street shoes makes me nauseous.
They could also be the climbing shoes with an EVA wedge in the back for hiking off, don't you remember the fad, all the shoe companies had a pair...what 8-10 years ago, now they are a bit harder to find. The dual pull tabs is something I've never seen on an approach shoe.
