Blob Rock, Eagle Rock, and Bitty Buttress are nomally closed from February 1 to July 31 to protect nesting golden eagles. The closure at Blob was lifted early this year (2009) since the eagles did not nest there. Shark Boulder protruding off the shores of Middle ...

Description 

This problem is on a riverside block that looks like a shark coming out of the mountainside. Sit start with a poor right hand pinch/sloper, and a poor left hand diagonal crimp, a right heel and left toehook, and continue out the horizontal pillar via more of the same. Slopey, physical, and awesome.

Location 

A nice location on the beach, below and right of Eagle Rock.

Protection 

A couple pads.
