BETA PHOTO: Upper Left Bihedral Area

Description

This is a section of the Bihedral Area which has a set of distinct, newer climbs. It is typically approached differently than when going to the Bihedral or Riviera. It is organized as a distinct area for clarity. Most, if not all, of the routes here were developed by Bob D'Antonio, Vaino Kodas, & Mike McGill. The routes here are generally protected with traditional gear. Note, this is distinct from the Left Side as described by Rolofson's Vol. 1 guide.

From L->R these area:

A. Most of the Time, 5.8, 1p, 80', gear.
B1. Slight of Hand, 11, 1p, 90', gear & bolts.
B2. Don't Ask, 5.10-, 1p, 80', gear & bolt.
C. Calling All Trad Climbers, 5.10, 1p, 80', gear & bolt.
D. What's Wrong With Parents Today?, 5.10+, 1p, 90', bolts & gear.
E. Twisted, 5.9-, 1p, gear, chimney to RFD.
FD. Twisted's Sister to Parents Today, 10-, var R of chimney to D.

Getting There

Park at approximately 7 miles up the canyon (from Elephant Buttresses). The larger parking area is distinguished by a large tree on the south side of the road. Hike up the talus slope just downhill on the north side of the road. Go up & left towards this cliff. The first climb you encounter is Unnamed Sport Climb. You must go left and up a gully to get to the rest of the climbs here. This photo may help if you need more directions.
