Seeing all that makes me glad I live in the middle of nowhere...

Richard, I got that exact same metal brush at the store when I told them "I want a brush I can take paint off of concrete with... something you'd brush a dragon's teeth with."
And they gave me one just like that, although like yours, the flat metal scraper on the end popped off.
We have affectionately named it "the Binford 2000 route brush."
